Secondary ContainmentSecondary containment is required for the storage of all regulated hazardous materials and approved coatings must be applied to surfaces when spills or leaks would damage or penetrate the uncoated secondary containment system. CTS can assist in specifying products that are resistant to virtually any chemical.

ChemLine® by Advanced Polymer Coatings, LLC is a unique hybrid system that cross-links an inorganic polymer, silicon oxide, with an organic polymer. The result is unsurpassed chemical resistance and temperature resistance. Chemically, the ChemLine systems can resist strong oxidizing acids, organic acids and some of the aggressive solvents. It has a dry heat temperature resistance up to 500°F. ChemLine is recommended for primary and secondary containment, stacks, and flooring. Key Contain SLT
Key Contain SLT by Key Resin Company is a 1/16", 1/8", or 1/4" epoxy-novolac slurry system designed to handle high chemical resistant applications. Key Contain can be installed with an integral cove base for areas requiring seamless wall to floor coatings. Sauereisen No. 210 Industrial - Novolak Wastewater Lining
SewerGard Industrial No. 210GN, No. 210SN and No. 210TN are the ideal coating and lining products to protect concrete and/or steel from chemical attack for the industrial wastewater market. They may be used in many kinds of aggressive industrial wastewater environments, such as oil refineries, food processing plants, power generation facilities, mining operations and pulp & paper plants. Sauereisen No. 218 FibreCrete Epoxy Novolak
FibreCrete No. 218 by Sauereisen is a novolac epoxy lining system used to protect concrete and steel from chemical attack. Its fiber-reinforcement enables outstanding flexural and tensile strength. It has excellent resistance to sulfuric acid and hydrocarbon exposure. At a thickness of 40 mils, it offers abrasion resistance making it an ideal lining for several environments. No. 218 is a 100% solids material applied by airless spray equipment. Sauereisen No. 381 ConoFlex Urethane
Sauereisen's No. 381 ConoFlex Urethane is an aromatic polyurethane lining that provides excellent flexibility and impact resistance for concrete, steel, and other substrates. No. 381 is a chemically resistant lining combining toughness, elongation, and low permeability with a fast cure time. The No. 381 can be applied via standard plural component equipment. It is and ideal choice for primary/secondary containment structures subject to movement and for applications including tank coatings and linings, and food processing areas (FDA & USDA compliant). Sauereisen No. 381.61 ConoFlex Urethane (NSF)
Sauereisen's No. 381.61 ConoFlex Urethane is an aromatic polyurethane lining that provides excellent flexibility and impact resistance for concrete, steel, and other substrates. No. 381.61 is NSF Certified for Potable Water per ANSI/NSF Standard 61. No. 381.61 is a chemically resistant lining combining toughness, elongation, and low permeability with a fast cure time. It is and ideal choice for primary/secondary containment structures subject to movement and for applications including tank coatings and linings, and food processing areas (FDA & USDA compliant). Sauereisen No. 440 Fibreline
The No. 440 FibreLine system by Sauereisen is a vinyl ester spray applied lining and follows suite with the FibreCrete concept of application. It requires a primer and the spray applied FiberLine coat, and optional vinyl-ester seal coat. While all vinyl ester resins provide a broad spectrum of chemical resistance as well as excellent resistance to certain chemicals they inherently do not bond well in moist substrates, unlike epoxy systems that can tolerate moisture. The quicker the application of a vinyl ester lining the easier it is to schedule a coating/lining project within optimal conditions. |
