Polymer Concrete/Pump Grouts
Vibration is a key factor in the maintenance of pumps and other rotating equipment. Epoxy grouting of pump baseplates provides a chemically resistant pump pad that dampens vibration eight times that of concrete, thirty times that of steel and in turn reduces alignment problems and premature failure. Effective dampening reduces pump-shaft vibrations caused by resonance. It also helps to absorb shock loads and reduce startup vibrations. The end result is a significant increase in the mean time between failures, reduced maintenance expenses, and longer life for mechanical seals and bearings.
